What is the status quo of your life?

Sep, 2002		- The time to chose your destiny is now! - In God's wisdom He decided to give mankind a time to chose freely and accept that what the suffering and death of the Messiah made possible: ETERNAL LIFE. Every individual that wants to accept this eternal live from Jesus has to leave behind all the things that can and shall not exist in God's eternity, this is everything that the Bible calls 'sin'. The word 'sin' comes from the Greek word 'hamartia' and means 'missing the mark' In the few years that we live our lives on this planet, full-grown sin can produce the most awful results. This is less noticeable dealing with nice people then when we are around 'real sinners'. This sinfulness depends, of course, on the circumstances of our lives including our upbringing, education, and church exposure. You don't have to be a scholar to see what sin can produce. Through the ages, human history is written with blood, again and again. Realizing what sin does, it is not difficult to understand that God does not allow us to take any of it with us into eternity! People who think that they do not need Christ because they live a fairly decent life, do not understand that sin SHALL NOT EXIST in God's eternity. God is Love and in His 'world' there is no place for sin, or the consequences of it. In 1 Cor. 13, the chapter dedicated to perfect LOVE it says: "But when the perfect comes, the partial (that which misses the mark) will be done away." Jesus personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. Everyone who accepts Him, He presents blameless and pure before His Father. It is the only way to become acceptable for the new world that God will create at the end of the above mentioned 'time to chose'. God does not want this to be a secret either. His Son commands all that have accepted Him to also make it known to others, making sure nobody is being lost but ALL can become what they were made for, living in eternal relationship with their Creator. What you and I need to do? If you have never made that choice I invite you to follow me in my decision to believe God and accept His conditions. I sure hope you will not be stubborn and reject His conditions for eternal life. If you refuse to accept what God's Son did for you, your eternity will be without God. Then you will have utterly missed the mark! Sin leads to death. The opposite of eternal life is eternal death. If you do NOT chose for eternal life, nobody can be blamed for it but yourself and not choosing is maintaining your status quo: eternal death. Your sins do not disappear by themselves nor can these be made good by good works. Do you think God would let His Son suffer and die if there had been an other way? If you think that you are without sin, than maybe you should search your heart a level deeper. God loves you! How can He bare to see you chose for your eternal death? The most quoted text in the Bible that shows God's heart towards you is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." ______________________________ To convince yourself that the above is not just a reasoning born out of my imagination but an extract from the pages we call 'The Scriptures' and which are also referred to as "God's love letter to mankind', you may want to read it yourself. If after doing so you find yourself falling in love with the Son of Man than please do not resist it but surrender and you WILL be born again into this NEW LIFE which is eternal and no longer separated from your Creator. 1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 1 Cor. 13:10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:17-21 God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. [18] "There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God. [19] Their judgment is based on this fact: The light from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. [20] They hate the light because they want to sin in the darkness. They stay away from the light for fear their sins will be exposed and they will be punished. [21] But those who do what is right come to the light gladly, so everyone can see that they are doing what God wants." 1 Peter 2:24 He (Jesus) personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds! 2 Peter 3:8-18 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. [9] The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
